MANIFEST DESTINY

One balmy pandemic night, the Wanderlust of the The Phantom Biker was indulged by the keepers of Archive 81 who through the Baldung Coven brought him to the Otherworld in Midnight Asia to Eat, Dance, Dream with DJ Sumirock who found him riding an old Mamachari bike from Nagoya's JICA Chubu to a midnight meal at the Narukiyo Izakaya in Shibuya where Flight KL808 diverted him to the Taoyuan International Airport to taste-test a Michellin-listed oyster omelet at Datong's Ningxia Night Market that also served Sardar pav bhaji from Mumbai which is 709 kilometers from Hyderabad and Flight TG330 that brought him to the grilled meats of Hero Moo Plara in Phra Nakhon which had him regurgitated at the Lugawan sa Tejeros after a 2-kilometer walk from Red Planet Makati where a Harvard Law intern fed him with fried chicken and beer from Itaewon's Ungteori Tongdak before being pulled back by D' HANKS in Bakal 2 to a fellowship of cold beer, paksiw na tilapia sa gata and tokwa't baboy.

He too is Addicted to Joy and Alan's extra-marital affairs and Zoe's preference for strange partners in the Shadow of Iris but definitely not into Fr. John Geoghan's pedophilia that put Antoine Doriot's fetish for bondage and discipline, dominance and submission, sadism and masochism, and Cardinal Bernard Law's cover-up in the Spotlight.

Back in Bakal 2, the Rise of Empires of the Ottoman Mehmed II was sealed with the conquest of Constantinople and commemorated on Tuesday night by the Thursday Group with pork barbecue and grilled cheap hotdogs, prelude to a quarterly bloodletting because diagnosis is the first line of defense according to Mara Brankovic.

Chasing Flight 828 from Jamaica to New York City in the bike trails of Nueva Ecija is the Phantom Biker's Manifest destiny, and so is an unexpected reunion with J, the kapuspalad from Guimba where Michaela, Ben and Cal searched for the calling of Season 1 in a Sunday bilao of fried chicken wings and boiled marble potatoes.
