On her birthday, me and the kids surprised her with a simple ready-to-eat birthday dinner: a cake from Goldilocks, bibingkang kanin from San Vicente's, putong puti from the palengke, pork barbeque and litson manok from our favorite street corner ihaw-ihaw, and the centerpiece pansit malabon sent by Kuyangs who's aware of our family's penchant for noodles.
